If so, look no further! Leicestershire & Rutland County FA has a full Coaching Programme available in 2012 to support you every step of the way.
Following on from consultation through the National Game Strategy we have listened to the clubs and volunteers that would like a more local approach to Coach Education. There are now club venues for various courses, including Level 1, Level 2, FA Youth Awards, specialist courses and FA Licensed Coaches Club workshops.
As the game gets quicker, the role of the volunteer can never be underestimated and Leicestershire & Rutland County FA recognises how essential volunteers are for teaching and developing our players at every level of football.
To achieve this, the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA provides a series of training courses for volunteers and coaches, which includes main stream courses at FA Level One and Two, specialist courses including Goalkeeping, Futsal, Disability Football and the FA Youth Award Modules One and Two (which focus specifically on working with youth and junior footballers).
In addition, several courses will also cover subjects including Safeguarding Children, Emergency First Aid, Welfare and Equality, each course is packed with expert knowledge and covers all areas of player development.
